Cervica vs ChiroFusion

This page is different from most comparison pages, because we did not research ChiroFusion. We lived in it. Cervica's founding practice ran its three clinics on ChiroFusion for years, built Cervica as the replacement, ran both systems in parallel through the transition, and migrated every chart, claim, and balance over. The importer we used is the one your practice would use.

The short version

ChiroFusion is affordable, web based, and gets the basics done, which is why thousands of practices use it. The gaps show up as your practice grows: when billing volume rises, when you add providers or a location, when personal injury becomes a real book of business, and when you want the software to work your denials instead of just recording them.

ChiroFusionCervica
Billing model Software subscription, with an optional managed billing service advertised at a percentage of collections. At meaningful volume that percentage is real money; do that math for your practice. Flat monthly software price with the billing tools built in: claims, ERA auto posting, and a denial worklist your own staff can run. We never take a percentage of your collections.
Denials Denials arrive on the remittance and it is on your biller to notice, research, and rework each one. Every denied claim lands in a worklist that reads the adjustment codes and routes it to a specific guided fix, with AI drafting appeals on the higher plans.
Personal injury No integrated PI case management. PI practices track liens, settlements, and attorney contacts outside the system. Liens, settlements, reductions, records requests, attorney directory, and statute of limitation watchlists in the same system as the chart.
Texting Reminders are covered; ask what two way patient texting costs and whether it is metered. Two way texting with a dedicated number per location, included, not metered.
Growth Ask exactly how price changes with each added provider and each added location. Unlimited providers on every Practice plan. Locations at a flat published rate.
Switching cost Leaving any EHR is painful, which is the quiet reason practices stay. Our ChiroFusion importer is the one we used on our own practice. Guided migration, and we will plan the timing around your contract.

What our own migration taught us

We ran ChiroFusion and Cervica side by side rather than cutting over blind, and we reconciled the two systems against each other before trusting the new one. That experience is baked into how we migrate every practice: your historical charts, patient balances, insurance details, and schedules come across, and we verify the totals against your old reports before you switch, not after.
